From 7ff4a34668f4e3d608e176ccc1ec1b512cf22b88 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Martin=20Storsj=C3=B6?= Date: Thu, 10 Mar 2022 13:47:22 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Revert "build-libcxx: Build with -ffunction-sections -fdata-sections" This reverts commit bd9e16f732a6eb01a033c19f0ccf5fda4d0671f2. It turns out this actually isn't needed; since switching to building via the llvm-project/runtimes directory (in 7b1d05f54500f5de8cf0e6d82de5724fc6e3fb74), the cmake build pulls in HandleLLVMOptions.cmake, which checks for and adds -ffunction-sections and -fdata-sections if supported. Therefore, we don't need to specify it manually at all. --- build-libcxx.sh | 2 -- 1 file changed, 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/build-libcxx.sh b/build-libcxx.sh index bd4170b..27bd323 100755 --- a/build-libcxx.sh +++ b/build-libcxx.sh @@ -97,8 +97,6 @@ build_all() { -DCMAKE_C_COMPILER=$arch-w64-mingw32-clang \ -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=$arch-w64-mingw32-clang++ \ -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER_TARGET=$arch-w64-windows-gnu \ - -DCMAKE_C_FLAGS="-ffunction-sections -fdata-sections" \ - -DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS="-ffunction-sections -fdata-sections" \ -DCMAKE_CROSSCOMPILING=TRUE \ -DCMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME=Windows \ -DCMAKE_C_COMPILER_WORKS=TRUE \
